today was your typical day. i guess. well, it started out that way. calc test didn't seem hard, but it was. kind of lame, i must say. i just hope i don't end up with a C in the class. that wouldn't be good. not at all. in english, we did poetry panels, which is basically a presentation of your analysis of a frost poem. the most interesting was bob omar and garrett's analysis. "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost. They had yellow post it notes with gold written in highlighter, and as bob was speaking, omar and garrett went around the classroom trading the "gold" for a leaf. the analogy was the best part. they somehow connected this poem to the lakers. lakers.."gold" celtics ... "green". nothing "gold" can stay, because it is replaced by "green" even though gold is 'better'. for bio, we went over to the library for the tutorial thing, which just turned out to be a major rant fest. it was a good venting session, i guess. i'm a girl, it's natural for me to talk shit every once in a while. i try not to though!
