I love Lara Stone. She's my new fave. I think I'm picking up on Carine Roitfeld, whose done countless editorials featuring Lara and also dedicated a whole issue of Vogue Paris to her!

I think it's her odd features that intrigue myself and the rest of us. Her gap tooth for one. It's weird, yet it draws you in. She has a figure, a rarity among fashion models today. Yet she's reached such success! I think it's a culmination of her barely there eyebrows and the glare of her eyes that draws you in. Fierce.

So here's a drawing I did of her. Essentially, I wanted to capture the essence of the emotions I got when I first saw her photograph. It's indescribable how powerfully her eyes are able to transcend an emotion. I used Paintmarkers and acrylic paint.
